A Day Programs
The Boys Speak Out, Inc. “For A Day” programs expose
middle and high school students (“Participants”) to
various professional fields including medicine, law, business, architecture
and entertainment. For A Day programs generally last from 4-6 hours.
Via hands on interaction, discussion groups and presentations, “For
a Day” programs allow the Participants to engage with young
professionals from the leading professional firms, vocational organizations
and academic institutions in the country. Participants learn about
Boys Speak Out, Inc.’s “Three (3) Keys to Success:”
hard work, dedication, and surrounding one’s self with positive
people. During the course of the program day, invited guests speak
with students about their personal experiences as well as the importance
of the Three (3) Keys to Success, and the effect that these three
keys have had on specific professionals.
Who Is Eligible?
Through the “For A Day” programs, Boys Speak Out, Inc.
targets middle school boys and girls from communities that can most
benefit from additional resources to facilitate their students personal
development. While Boys Speak Out, Inc. staff members work diligently
to identify institutions and organizations willing to host such
events, we are happy to receive recommendations for new opportunities.
Program Location
To date, programs have taken place in California, Florida, Georgia,
Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington D.C. We are currently
considering additional programs in other cities and states across
the country. For information on hosting a program or becoming involved
in some capacity, contact us at info@boysspeakout.org.
“I
would recommend this event to my friends because it would help them
